FAQs

How does Appethyl® work?

Appethyl® has a unique triple effect: it can help reduce snacking, aid in weight loss, and has a prebiotic effect, which can contribute to good stomach- and intestinal health.

When should I take Appethyl®?

You can take your daily dose of Appethyl® in conjunction with whatever mealtime you like, depending on when you need the most support. Are you hungriest before noon? Take it with breakfast. Crave sweets in the afternoon? Take it with lunch. Tend to snack in the evenings? Take it with dinner.

Can I mix Appethyl® in both cold and warm liquids?

Yes, you can use whatever liquid you like. What’s important is that you include a small amount of fat in conjunction with when you take Appethyl®, so add a teaspoon of vegetable oil if taking it with a fat-free meal.

Am I going to lose weight?

Due to its appetite supressing qualities, Appethyl® can assist you in your weight-loss program if used regularly for at least three months.

What does Appethyl® contain?

Appethyl® contains thylakoid extract from spinach, natural flavouring (lemon flavouring in lemon-flavoured Appethyl®) and rice extract. It is vegan, gluten free and lactose free.

Can’t I just eat spinach instead?

Because human physiology cannot breakdown the necessary cellular walls, thylakoids are not released when you eat fresh spinach. However, spinach is healthy in other ways so feel free to eat it!

Does it work for everyone?

Dietary supplements don’t work in exactly the same way for everyone, but our clinical studies have shown a greater effect in the Appethyl® group when compared to the control group, who didn’t take Appethyl®.

Are there any side effects?

No, there are no known side effects associated with Appethyl®.

Can I take Appethyl® if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Appethyl® has no known side effects, but the Swedish National Food Agency (Livsmedelsverket) advises that you always consult with your midwife or doctor before taking dietary supplements during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
